Experience
My journey in the financial services industry began in 2017 with Principal® in Des Moines, IA where I started in the life insurance department. Over time, I found myself drawn to the marketing side of the business and spent several years supporting businesses through that lens. In 2024, I made the decision to return to Principal, and soon after joined the Beacon Financial Group team. For me, Principal has always felt like home. I grew up visiting family members who worked there, and I've seen firsthand the impact this company has on people's lives.
Education
- Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of Northern Iowa
– Emphasis in Marketing and Organizational Leadership
– Certificate in Entrepreneurship - MBA from the University of Iowa's Professional Program (completed while working full-time at Principal)
Interests
Life is full and fun at our house! My husband and I have been married for nearly five years, and we're raising two energetic daughters, a curious little boy, and two big dogs who keep us on our toes. When we're not chasing kids or picking up toys, we love to spend time outdoors—especially boating in the summer. I'm always up for a good travel adventure, and I find joy in volunteering with animal rescue organizations when time allows.
